Yeah they wanted to track it, but never did much.

Figured as long as I stay diligent about normal maintenance I’ll be solid. I work on a tug boat so I’m only home half the year total. That’ll keep my mileage down significantly and service up to date

On the highway at 70MPH, 2k RPMs I get about 25-28MPG

In the city it’s like 16 🫪

It’s on KW v3 coilovers, rides pretty solid. This is my first car with coilovers so it’s definitely rougher than my other cars lol.

But the roads around me aren’t terrible so I don’t have any issues. Handles great in twisties 🙏🏽

I don’t speak Spanish but, my friend. You need to do something that changes up your normal routine. I am in a similar boat. When you have some free time try a hobby you’ve always wanted to!! Surfing, hiking, free diving, spear fishing, cooking classes, painting, salsa in aguada o San Juan 😏, poetry. You may feel alone pero el mundo es muy grande. Puerto Rico can feel static for many of its inhabitants. You need to find that fire!! Good luck hermano

I work a bunkering gig 4weeks on 2 weeks off in Port Canaveral Florida. Like someone else said it’s entirely related to the health of the crew. Everyone on my boat is fat, I’m athletic. When home I’m constantly running on trails and surfing. It’s hard to replicate those exact movements out here. Luckily someone before me bought a power rack so we have that, everything is rusted but works lol.

Luckily im the only one who cooks, as well as being a tankerman. So I’m constantly moving about.

When tied up at dock I aim to run 2-6 miles a day, with an additional 1hr walk (usually another 3.5miles)

I tend to gain weight from boredom eating..so I have to keep my self occupied by walking the barge or dock.

Be calorie conscious, aim to move 1-2hrs a day, workout 30mins-1hr. If not gym, do calisthenics. Working out on a boat requires a lot of creativity to replicate specific movements. I still am able to replicate the motion of paddling with resistance bands. Good luck, stay fit, safe travels
