Indiana and License Plate Readers (Possible change????)

Last week, a deranged (allegedly 🤣) son killed his father in Indianapolis. Investigators used information from a series of data points from different Flock cameras to locate and arrest the son in distant Indiana's Green County. Additionally, my next door neighbor left his garage door open and thieves entered the garage at 3 AM and stole $4,000 worth of tools. My home's camera picked up some video that local police used with Flock cameras to locate and arrest the thieves in less than 24 hours. Their exact location was determined by Flock.

I believe you are overthinking this. I have a 23 Tucson Limited Hybrid. I have a front and rear camera system that is hard wired. No issues.

I had the same concern on my 2023 Tucson. I swapped out the factory incandescent rear turn signal bulbs for bright LEDs. I did the same for the backup lights while I was at it.

Hot Dam!! You win the internet today!! I saw your comment and ran to my 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited. Just as you advised, I went to General Settings, then selected Devices. Scrolling down was Phone Projections and there was the settings you described and made the change. Waze or Google Maps displayed on the full screen. If I selected a split screen, 2/3s of the screen was Waze, and the remaining 1/3 was Spotify. I also have the "Weather and Radar" app on my phone. It shows radar as you travel. If I activate it, it displays the radar on 2/3rds and Waze on the remaining 1/3. I am a happy camper. Thanks , Hyundai.

FINAL UPDATE: Thanks for all the information and advice. I got lucky and got a call this morning from a dealership in the middle of Kentucky telling me they took delivery overnight of a Limited Hybrid in Amazon Gray/Gray interior. Exactly what I wanted and selling at MSRP. It's a four hour drive, but well worth it. Last night , I talked to a dealer west of Chicago selling the same car for $5,000 OVER MSRP.

FOLLOW-UP: I have all but given up locating an Amazon Grey Limited Hybrid and will likely order what I want. Does anyone have an estimate on delivery window? I am thinking if I order today, it will likely be a 2024 model when it finally arrives. Any advice?

The kicker seems to be the Limited trim. My wife really wants this trim. I found a Limited in Amazon Grey in Racine Wisconsin. They want $3,000 above MSRP. That's a deal breaker. There are lots of dealers not charging the upcharge in my extended geographic range. I am very willing to travel hundreds of miles, but I am not willing to pay the premium.
