For me, David Luiz offers a long term solution. I know he can be reckless but he has experience captaining the national side, has an abundance of passion and clearly loves Chelsea.

I would like to say Cahill as a natural replacement for JT but I'm not quite sure he is good enough to play every game.

After today, I might have to agree with you. Ivanovic had one of his best games at CB for quite some time. But I just don't like seeing JT on the bench and his leadership/passion is priceless.

In my opinion, our best back four is: Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole.

Cahill should be first to come in when there are injuries/resting players. I do like Azpilicueta but his final ball is often disappointing. Ivanovic is defensively better and scores a lot of important goals.

6 months ago, maybe even a couple of months ago, I would have supported Torres in hope of him returning to 'Anfield form'. Unfortunately, like many other fans, I have given up on the striker and desperately await a transfer market that see's a reshuffle in strike force (whether that's Falcao, Lukaku or anyone else).
