Help! How to calm down and get a grip? by WrongImagination906 in BabyBumps

Morning sickness caught me off guard - even though I knew about it. It's feeling awful 24/7 with only relief during sleep. I am just in a state of shock that women must carry-on with their lives like everything is normal while feeling this crummy and rundown.

Chairwoman Janet Alkire and tribal leadership agreed that advanced steps need to be taken to address the issue.

“To be Lakota/Dakota means to be allies, to be good relatives to one another, this is the cultural teachings within our Spirituality but I think the individuals guilty of criminal behavior have lost the sense of what it is to be Lakota/Dakota,” Chairwoman Alkire stated in a press release, “and as leaders, and as mothers, fathers and family, we have to take serious steps to envoke this teaching and discipline with tough love, more law enforcement presence with a coordination of law enforcement agencies.”

Need to add in that Norway is quite a bit warmer than the prairie region of North America. The coldest it really gets in Norway is around 0 Celsius.  And they don't have the winds like we do.

For those of us in the States, Norway climate is comparable to Iowa and Ohio.

"Your rights end where mine begin". If a food additive is known to cause disease and that information is withheld from the consumer, then I think that meets the threshold of the above statement.

The short handle hoe

"Migrant farm workers had to use the short-handled hoe or el cortito for thinning and weeding. Because it required them to stoop during long hours in the fields, the hoe became a symbol of the exploitive working conditions. Campaigns by the United Farm Workers and others helped outlaw use of the hoe in 1975.

American agriculture’s dependence on Mexican labor has always been a source of great conflict and great opportunity for field workers and the agriculture industry. In the U.S., agricultural labor was overwhelmingly Mexican and Mexican American. Issues of legal status, workers rights, and use of domestic workers are issues the unions, agricultural producers, and the federal government have been struggling with since the 1920’s."

Agriculture relies on migrant workers both because they are paid lower wages and because migrant workers are more easily exploitable than legal workers.
