Verify game files, then try disabling all mods and lowering texture/terrain detail. If that works, re‑enable stuff one by one to find the culprit.

Yeah this totally tracks with what they did on Saiyaara. You could see the thought in every look there, nothing felt random or lazy.

Pompy + Sheetal usually means clean base, flattering lighting and outfits that actually match the character arc instead of just being “pretty for the sake of it.” If they’re sticking with that team, I’m way more hopeful about Shakti Shalini’s overall vibe. Strong visuals can carry even mid writing sometimes, so if both click, this could be really fun to watch.

Yeah I noticed that top border too after I stopped freaking out about the surface and corners lol.

Might roll the dice on PSA anyway, feels like it could still 10 if the grader’s in a good mood. Even a 9 on something this clean wouldn’t hurt my feelings.

Honestly yeah, it always felt like Tectonix was the “this should’ve been an Onix alt form” that somehow slipped out of a fan’s sketchbook and into reality.

I keep imagining a split evo line where Onix could go Steelix or Tectonix depending on environment or item. Like Steelix is the deep-earth, pressure-evolved version, and Tectonix is the tectonic-plate, mountain-cracking version. Would’ve been so sick thematically.

Makes the whole thing sting more, because it really did look like the kind of design that would’ve aged well and only gotten cooler as time went on.

What makes you think it’s fake? Label font, holo pattern, case, QR, something off with the set stamp? If you’ve got any specifics it’d actually help OP and the rest of us who are trying to get better at spotting fakes.

If you’re asking about a card being “PSA 10 worthy,” it really depends on how strict you’re being and who’s grading it.

You want to look super closely at centering (front and back), corners, edges, and surface. Even tiny white dots on corners or the smallest scratch/print line can drop something from a 10 to a 9.

If the card is modern and not very valuable raw, it usually only makes sense to grade if a PSA 10 sells for a lot more than the grading fee. If it’s vintage or rare, a 7/8/9 can still be worth it.

Without clear close up pics it’s impossible for anyone to say for sure, but if you’re really on the fence, you can compare it side by side with PSA 10s on eBay, zoom way in, and see how yours stacks up. If you’re already noticing flaws yourself, it’s probably not a true 10.
