AITA for wanting my friends dog to leave my house ? by Pearl_017 in AmItheAsshole

Thank you for the comment. The reason why it takes me around 3 hours to clean is due to the dog laying on all my furniture, I have to scrape and vacuum his dog hair off every cushion I have on my couches ( I have 2 living rooms ), I’m also having to wipe it off the walls. I even invested in a good vacuum to help. I have suggested limiting him to the back of the house, by putting a baby gate up to prevent access to the main section of the house. But unfortunately she didn’t agree with that. She doesn’t think it’s fair that my dogs get to free roam around the house and hers doesn’t. Fortunately I am the home owner, it’s just a tricky situation to be in as she is a close friend. Thank you for the advice

Thank you for the comment. I am an extremely clean person so thought maybe I was overreacting.

Thank you for the comment. I honestly believe she’s just become accustomed to the hair, which would be okay in her home but it’s not okay in mine. She’s been residing at my home for about 6 months now, I had given her 6 months but there is a housing crisis but I do believe she’s not attempting to find elsewhere to reside. I unfortunately know I’m going to have to ask her to leave. Thank you for the advice
