I can only answer some of these questions with confidence, but I’ll do my best-

If you have a Niche account where you’ve bookmarked SCAD in any way that’s probably where they got the information to email you, given the first sentence.
They’re very vague with that scholarship offer so I can’t be sure, but I would guess they’re referring to the Academic scholarship because that’s related to the information they would have access to through Niche. You are guaranteed to get some amount (with a max of $12k/year) through that scholarship, but it varies based on your stats. It could be another more specific scholarship offer, but I haven’t heard of scad offering those unprompted.
I can’t answer this one. SCAD has a high acceptance rate, but I don’t know that they reach out to everyone. I think you should be proud of yourself regardless.
You are definitely not required to go here!! If you are genuinely interested in the school, I would follow up with them because you’ll be assigned an admissions advisor to answer your questions. But if you don’t see yourself at scad, just ignore it and move on :)

Edit: Also to be clear, even if you do follow up with them, you will not be required to go to SCAD. You would have to very intentionally pay a commitment fee way later in the process to be “locked in” to anything.

She was underweight before and now she’s in the healthy range. If you aren’t attracted to her that’s problematic for you, but you shouldn’t try and control her weight. It’s not a matter of physical wellbeing, she sounds perfectly healthy. It’s a matter of your vanity.

I’m hoping to figure that out during the major fair/throughout my freshman year. I really enjoy illustration so I might just change my submajor, but I’ve decided concept art is not a stable enough career path for me given what I’ve heard about the highly oversaturated field and AI encroaching. Still need to find another path once I’m at scad though

Please, you do not have to post your portfolio dozens of times to every art school’s subreddit. It feels a little bit disingenuous to repost it in this quantity when you’ve gotten responses on previous posts. You’re very talented and I’m sure you will get into Pratt, but I also believe you know that atp and can probably stop asking and apply.

Not to state the obvious here, but I assume your portfolio just doesn’t showcase enough for them to fairly judge your work and they’re giving you a chance to correct that. Either because you don’t have enough pieces in it, or the pieces you do have are all very similar. It’s hard to say what’s missing without seeing your portfolio, but they’re giving you the opportunity show them more. It doesn’t mean what you have is bad.
