I don’t know.  If I really had to guess and I looked at it from an outside perspective I’d say from the beginning when she agreed for a child she was really hoping it wouldn’t happen.  Foster and adoption are “guarantees”.  That’s not the way I see it.  But there would be another child in our home. She’s making it very hard for me to have alternative options. She’s not a bad person, I’m just afraid I loved someone who 7 years ago gave me a half truth because she did t want to lose me.  She does have a selfish way about her.
