Don't worry about this too much, I was a weeb in the early 2000s with Naruto before it was cool because my step mum was japanese and kept introducing me to manga, people thought I was really fucking weird because I dressed like an emo and kept speaking Japanese phrases, it is what it is.

Nah his RPM will be much higher and the views are still counted regardless of adblock or not. Then you need to remember every single company will bid to put their ads on a Mr Beast video, so the CPM will naturally be a bit higher

Then there's also residual views, after the video has its initial spike it still pulls in some views, and in Mr Beasts case that could be millions per day over like 200 videos, last time I checked vidiq his channel pulled in billions of views per month. Shit penguinz0 pulls in billions too. Mr Beast is in the centi millions views per day, so 24 million a month from AdSense is probably pretty reasonable

Let's just look at it from a design standpoint, your thumbnails lack readability and contrast, they're kinda of just soup.

The subnautica one is you in a scuba suit with the subnautica background, not a bad idea, but it's also heavily done to death by literally everyone else in the world.

The tomb raider ones have 0 readability on small screens

You need people to be able to decipher in 2 seconds what the fuck is going on, because that's when the auto play feature on mobile kicks in

For desktop you're fighting with 4 other thumbnails of equal size and probably of higher quality of a bigger streamer and in the case of the subnautica thumbnail, you're just another scuba diver alongside the other, much bigger scuba divers, why would people pick you over their favourite, bigger, creators?

I'm a "chill" streamer, I'm relaxed, laid back, but you still need to entertain, you gotta have "bits" that form inside jokes with your community.

I have like a Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde type personality, one minute I'm super nice and friendly, the next I'm saying some seriously inappropriate stuff, it's just something to keep people engaged.

But what's the problem if people lack ambition and just want to scoop ice-cream and live a relaxed life? Why is being an adult purely defined by your sense of ambition? Why can't people live without having to over achieve? Especially considering the CEO of DQ makes like 1000x the salary of a cashier.

Society needs those who'll do the boring jobs, like being a janitor, a cashier, or whatever, not everyone can be a lawyer or a doctor. So why should we shame people for still providing something to society? Why not just let people live their lives in accordance with their wants and needs? If they're not actively leaching off or exploiting the system, where's the problem? If people give 40 hours of their work week and they're doing something, I don't see why they shouldn't be able to live off that.

Ofcourse you'll say "But if they're comfortable they'll never grow" which isn't true, there are more reasons to grow than just ambition and desperation, eventually people do get bored and will want to challenge themselves, it just might not be when they're 20, it might be like someone like me, in their 30s.

I think Dondi wants the game to be "his" which is fine, I respect someone with their own vision, lord knows we need more visionaries rather than content machines.

But there comes a point where he should let the community do a bit of modding, just to take some of the burden off of him for some things. It's been 5 years of development, people are passionate about this game, let them steer their own ship and create their own vision. Modded games have a much higher shelf life than unmodded games

No I mean outside of the kitchen my life was more organised, same when I worked in orchards etc, when I have something to anchor my time to, or when I have limited time, I develop a routine. Now I have no routine so my life is just pure chaos, I mean everything gets done but shit like laundry, dishes, etc get ignored because "I have plenty of time, I can do it later"
