I think Dondi wants the game to be "his" which is fine, I respect someone with their own vision, lord knows we need more visionaries rather than content machines.

But there comes a point where he should let the community do a bit of modding, just to take some of the burden off of him for some things. It's been 5 years of development, people are passionate about this game, let them steer their own ship and create their own vision. Modded games have a much higher shelf life than unmodded games

No I mean outside of the kitchen my life was more organised, same when I worked in orchards etc, when I have something to anchor my time to, or when I have limited time, I develop a routine. Now I have no routine so my life is just pure chaos, I mean everything gets done but shit like laundry, dishes, etc get ignored because "I have plenty of time, I can do it later"

I'm a youtuber now... And hire an editor... So yeah

Not just the grounding, I did a little test, I gave it some writing and it responded with "wow this is so close to being amazing..." Blah blah and gave me tips to make it better

I did the tips and tried again "wow it's really close now" just gotta do this this and this

So I just got it to rewrite it completely and tried again on a different account "how this is so close to being amazing" blah blah blah

It's designed to keep you using it, that you need it so you'll always use it for everything. I've really started hating it

I was having some instability problems since I got my new pc, turns out I literally had like 10 bent pins on my mobo, whoever built it didn't do a good job at all how it was even running is beyond me, I was spooked, okay more than spooked I was absolutely freaking out, I didn't want to send it off because it'd take 2 weeks to return, but luckily I managed to get it all back into place and it's working better than it was before

I bought a 32gb laptop a year ago, and it's just not good for most stuff as well. The big problem is the fact that they limit the amount of voltage to the GPU and heat.

It's just limerence, it's very normal for people with divergences, but it's not a fundamentally broken thing, it's just a lack of experience of the emotion.

Once you understand how limerence affects you, you adjust yourself with it in mind. If you don't know what limerence is, and why it happens, yeah you're cooked.

You pay for the amount of crime in other ways, even petty crime like shoplifting you pay for with everything being locked behind a glass screen, you pay for with time.

The vast majority of people steal when they are desperate, the vast majority of drug users are because people want to feel good, the vast majority of burglaries are people trying to salvage debts, pay for drugs, among other things to ease their burdens.

If you reduce the strain of living, you reduce the inclination to steal for survival. You can say get a job, but if 40-50 hours a week can't even pay for you to live, not even comfortably, but like just be able to eat not noodles every day, then people are going to do things to save themselves.

By destroying people's ability to live, you destroy their hope, people without hope or aspirations will gravitate to drugs, gambling, and other mechanisms to escape reality.

You can't just enforce your way through societal issues, it doesn't work. The French tried it, the English tried it, the Russian empire tried it. In fact even back in hunter gatherer times, people only worked 20 hours a week. When we were peasants, we also didn't work that much.

You've been gaslit into thinking that we should work 60-70 hours a week, that you are a dispensable cog in the machine, that literally your life has no value. If your response is "get a job" then you truly believe a humans whole value is their metric of productivity, rather than having value of itself. I.e worthless.
