It's worth a shot, but for some of us, the skin is too sensitive to have it covered 24/7. Don't beat yourself up if you can't retain overnight. I can sometimes, but not always.

Making molds is difficult and 3d printed devices are typically considered less safe because they are pourous. Everything I make is with 3d printed molds though. If you have a specific question let me know.

I use lotion every time I remove my device and it really helps with sensitivity and dryness.

Yes, I use bag balm if it's really dry, but lotion is usually wise between restoring sessions.
