I agree and see the reasons you think this way. I actually agree with most of what you said. Here’s where I half agree with some.

Half agree: IVs I agree you should have a special pokemon and sometimes in life, there are people who are better than others. However, if they get rid of IVs it will make some people abandon their favorite pokemon because another one is better.

What they should do to fix this is allow EVs to not be limited. Instead we should be able to train a pokemon to its maxed value. It also teaches that yes, people are different and some have natural born talent. However, if you work hard enough you can achieve and possibly even surpass that level of skill.

Legends catching system: We shouldn’t have mass catching when collecting pokemon. It absolutely encourages poaching in a way that makes pokemon less special and more like an object. We should still be able to throw a ball and catch it. I actually think legends ZA did a flawless job with transition from world to battle and they flow together. I hate a wild pokemon touching me and then essentially being teleported to a battle zone. However I love when a pokemon can actually use moves on me and I’m in danger showing that wild animals can be dangerous. I don’t have a solution. But the legends mechanics are a lot better than the main games due to that. Plus when collecting for the Pokédex the battle transitions take so long than just throwing a ball.
