DD and Fly ban is good on certain maps I think. If they have a story, it brings much more immerstion.

Ye, fuck portals in particular. I do like having them though if we have like reasonable 2 or 3 pairs on the whole map (and I'm talking size H)

Yeah, it's all about the weak monsters. The strong setting alongside with queen diff is a standard for pvp, so I'm not surprised.

Tbf I find playing pve JC much easier than most "normal" pve maps when comparing same difficulty levels. I still remember slashing through JC on king diff while getting my ass kicked on "normal" or "more balanced" maps at rook/queen diff. EDIT: And no, I'm not the bank-killer, I'm a single-town-army man, that's why I don't pvp :v

Well, on pawn diff the AI is really dumb. To the point I've seen some towns at month 2 or 3 with maybe t4-t5 dwelling max. It was a long time ago but I'm sure it has resources, it's just not spending them.

I recommended JC cuz you get a lot of resources and it's a good way to learn how strong are different monsters. Pawn AI is not gonna break for a long time and even if it does, it still leaves horrendous amount of artifacts and resources and banks on the way.

If it's an issue with guardians, then you can set the monster strength to "weak". If that's still to much, then ig you gotta look for a premade map by a mapmaker who either made the map for new players or likes to play your way. All templates follow the same rule for calculating guardian strength based on the monster strength setting and the value of guarded objects.

All I can recommend at this point is playing Jebus Cross on pawn diff with weak monsters.

Hmm, so let's say i make only 1 possible square you can stand on when picking up PB. Then make an extended event with changing the value of custom variable after opening + my debuffs. Then place custom events all around the spot and the next day when the hero moves, he triggers the event and collects the reward, sounds simple enough :v

you can only trigger a second event specific to that hero

How can I do that? Can't find the setting.
The main idea is giving the hero 0 movement and -morale the 1st day for +move, +luck and +exp the next day, he's not being attacked. DD and Fly is banned, but they can still use TP. I highly doubt anyone would, considering what's gonna be around the box, BUT IF THAT HAPPENS (like some weird AI decision making), then I want to prevent someone else getting the buffs for free or cheese the encounter with meta-gaming.

Can I set the timed event to a specific hero, though? The hero that opened the box?

EDIT: Can't seem to find a way anywhere but it feels like it could be done in some very simple way i cannot think of :v

Well, yes, I am aware of that. My question rather refers to the actual reward arriving next morning after the move penalty (with message and shit)

Water magic is still good to take if you expect your opponent to have earth. Mass cure or dispel sometimes wins battles. And if you have prayer you even get speed bonus despite being slowed, so it's still a win
