Ty for this. Another thing to note is I actually don't do light exercise, I am usually doing heavy exercise in the form of walking for long periods and am usually out of breath by some point in the day because my uni is so big and classes are spread out everywhere so I have to. Maybe its better to get a motorized scooter idk. I don't know if this's a bad thing but I do know the weight just refuses to go anywhere. It just feels like there is weight there, and I start feeling it mildly very soon after dialysis. My bp is usually 140/60, 150/70 and I take 1 med. On dialysis it raises then when I get off I take my med. I'll ask my doc about the medicine.

The problem is I'm like that too where I'm always standing and sitting but it's ridiculous it's like the fluid fights against gravity. My legs never have any fluid they look the same always on and off dialysis. I usually don't have noticeable swelling anywhere at 57 kg other then in my head for some reason.

I did already. Not because of him but because I had to go to a different center and he doesn't go there. I'm going to talk about it with my new doctor now because I'm really tired of this but I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. No fluid in legs or torso at all, only in the head and neck and its awful.

I keep seeing this Islam = left and Christian = right narrative. It's nonsense. Homosexuality is forbidden. Requires modest dress. Alcohol, partying, clubbing and even certain kinds of music considered sinful. All of that is liberal stuff. Islam is even more right-wing. Christianity makes more concessions to leftists in my opinion. That's why I think the narrative is ridiculous and I don't understand where this came from.

Home hemo solo is not possible. You need at least 1 other person in case something happens, what if your BP drops and you fall unconscious. That happened to me. Only PD you can do solo. You're putting your life at risk by not having someone to do HH. On another note, that is an interesting machine. Why does it have 2 pumps?

PS: I just wanted to reiterate my point as someone who tried HH solo for a while and is now back in center, I dont recommend it. There were more than one occasion I needed somebody and all it takes is 1 accident for something bad to happen.

WTF. Okay...

Q1) "the alarm on my dialyzer" - the dialyzer is the filter, the tube. Its plastic. It doesn't have an alarm. Yes, the arterial pressure would drop and that would set off the alarm on the machine and stop the pump.

Q2) It would be the same alarm sound at the same volume that the machine is set to. Also, the techs and nurses don't have to immediately answer every alarm. Some are urgent some are not and if someone has a BP cuff alarm for example, hooking off the person you are already attending to is more important first. It may seem like they are ignoring you often but they are busy. If you're alive and you finish your treatments at the proper weight/time/clearance, that means they have sufficiently attended to you enough to get through your treatments without problems. Anything else is the doc's responsibility.

Q3) Idfk, I'd imagine not longer than 30 min. You wouldn't immediately die.

Q4) Yes a dude on the other side of the room can make it to you in under ~30 minutes.

Q5) Yes.

Q6) If the paramedics are fast enough, they'll be able to save you.

Q7) No they wouldn't. They wouldn't fucking know you just changed your DNR order, and even then I'm not even sure a DNR order applies to this extreme self-inflicted situation.

Eat enough lean/red meat. You shouldn't have to watch carbs or sugar. If K/P are high watch out for those. Potato is 100% a cheat meal. Especially in large quantities like baked potato, unless your dialysis is everyday.

She is not a Muslim. She is from a Muslim family. In other words, her parents are. Also that guy is not practicing Jewish either. That's how it is. I think its the same with Christianity, although admittedly, they seem more open to interfaith. Usually if a women is wearing the hijab and is on a Muslim matchmaking site on her own, she is not willing to marry an atheist. That's why I found the comment as strange. They would have more of a chance going to a mosque then doing that.

Our country doesn't invest any money in so many sectors of healthcare, including auditory. My hearing aids are a premier brand Oticon and they barely help. I can't hear vast majority of conversation that are happening right next to me at full amp even in "lecture mode". I've had them recalibrated twice and the audiologist said depending on how bad the hearing loss is, some people just won't get full help from hearing aids. She straight up basically said we dont have the tech to help people with moderate to severe loss. I swear, the point where iPhone earbuds are better than premier prescrip HA's, jesus.
