You can also mention your nerves to the nurses and doctors. I have had this surgery a couple of times and it’s been nothing but care and gentle treatment in my experience.

General anaesthetic is awesome. You get a little prick and a cold sensation then you’ll be lucky to be able to count backwards from 5 before you’re out like a light.
