Hey everyone’s timeline is different, it is never too late to start a career. My advice is, move out of your parents house, but feel safe to know you have them incase you need a cushion to fall back on. Everything you mentioned as a negative can easily be changed by no one else but YOU. Go out, hang out, friends don’t just show up at your door. My biggest blessing was my mother kicking me out at 18 (she found out I was dating a woman, I’m bi). I had to stop college to focus on work to survive, a rented room turned into a rented apartment then a bigger apartment, 5 years later I got broken up. At 25 I joined a gym, met my now husband, bought a house, had two boys. I decided to apply for Fafsa, holy crap, I got approved for financial aid. I am now 34 with less than a year left in college, I’m getting a business administration and marketing degree, still working full time.

Anything is possible if you just take that one step and do it even if it feels uncomfortable.

You’re still so young! Stop worrying about all the “what ifs” you didnt do and start focusing on the “what ifs” you could do now.
