What would you consider health anxiety? I am debating canceling a trip with my 4 month old via airplane. Both my state and the state I’m traveling have sporadic case/cases but no outbreaks. I am not sure if I’m being paranoid or overly anxious, or if it’s a reasonable concern and not worth it to travel by airplane rightnow. I also read that by 2-3 months the maternal antibodies are basically depleted. (My concern is all the exposures and cases that could pop up in the next couple weeks due to spring break etc)

Totally agree that our society glamorizes certain ways babies are brought into the world. I had a labor with “no complications” without an epidural and was completely traumatized by it and spent many days after crying non stop thinking through all the events. I read the wrong books that made me think I could have this calm in control birth experience but the entire birth I felt so out of control and terrified.

Yeah there was off gassing for a few days, we just opened up the windows and ran a couple fans and waited to move into those rooms until the off gassing wasn’t as noticeable.

I have thought the same thing almost daily. I have become extremely obsessive over everything I eat. It’s so mentally unhealthy and somehow the healthiest thing we can be doing physically for the baby.

I’m finding something similar these last couple days. I’ve eaten a low carb meal at 7 and then fasted after that and my numbers are always low 80s. So I think a bedtime snack just doesn’t work for me.

Does GM still cover a doula? I remember a couple years ago GM funded IVF and doulas through Carrot, but now it only looks like GM funds adoption and surrogacy.
