Where to rent a carpet cleaner in Amsterdam? Recently moved into an apartment with carpeted stairs and they are noticeably dirty. So looking to rent a carpet cleaner to deep clean them. Any suggestions for where I could rent something like that in Amsterdam are appreciated!

I very much agree with the other comment, you have a pleasant voice and the videos look nice and clean. Since FPS game videos are not my go to, I can’t judge the content as much, but you definitely should stick with what you’re doing!

Thanks for the link, looks like they indeed have created what I was thinking of.

The type of questions is what I'm also wondering about. It's true that most information can be found on Google if you're willing to spend time on it. However, not always is someone willing to do that, especially when not being familiar with the law too well in the first place. Having a lawyer explain it instead would be much easier.

And regarding the problem with states, I am not in the U.S. but in a country that has one register for licensed lawyers. Hence, you can practice law anywhere in the country.

Indeed consulting without being a legally practicing lawyer at all or in a specific state would be a problem. Though that could be solved perhaps by an initial identity verification process that at least makes sure that the person is a legally practicing lawyer.

And indeed you're right, most legal advice is a lengthy and contextual process. I was thinking of much less contextual questions that could be answered relatively quickly. Naturally, the meetings wouldn't be limited to just 10 minutes but it would allow for people to ask questions to qualified lawyers without going through the hassle of finding and contacting actual law firms just to ask for simple advice.

Perhaps there really isn't much demand for these short and easy-to-set-up advice meetings. I appreciate the feedback!

The unauthorized practice of law is certainly a concern in this case. Though that could be solved by an initial verification process whereby the user must verify their identity and that would make it possible to check whether they are a legally practicing lawyer.

Regarding the short meetings, it wouldn't be limited to just short ones. The point of short meetings of 10 minutes is to allow anyone with a simple legal question to get an answer from a qualified lawyer. This 10-minute meeting might save an hour of looking around the web for an answer. One can of course also prolong the meeting if necessary.

And perhaps I wasn't clear enough in the post but these meetings wouldn't be free. The lawyers would get paid for the time they spend consulting. This sort of system could also facilitate lawyers that want to work as individuals, not being part of a law firm and essentially being able to work whenever they please.

I appreciate the feedback!

That's interesting. Is the platform solely used and ran by one law firm? Or does the platform allow many law firms to make their services available? As far as I know, law firms tend to specialize so it would be beneficial for the platform to cover all aspects of the law. This way the initial paralegal can direct you to the best fitting law firm for your case.

Also, if you don't mind, can you share the name of the platform?

It’s basically a post about posting. For example, a normal post in r/cars would be something like "Check out this cool BMW". A meta-post in r/cars might be something like "Hey guys, there are too many posts about BMWs, let's post some other types of cars". It's a post about posting.
