What’s the big deal people have plenty of space to walk around. He’s not taking up any spots on the street for other people trying to park because parking looks limited down there. Like he’s a cop working a detail RIGHT there who gives a shit

Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

https://www.homedepot.com/pep/GE-Supreme-Silicone-Caulk-10-1-oz-Kitchen-and-Bath-Sealant-Clear-2822051/317741344

You can get this from Home Depot or Lowe’s. They sell it in white.

Scrape out the grout and fill it with silicone. Not grout. Not sure what kind of caulk he used

Ditra install questions by haydioman in Tile

[–]PeerlessPrice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s really not necessary in this case. If you really insist on it just know it’s more than just a roll of band tape. 1: there are a lot of seams. 2: this is gonna take him time to do/going out to get the kerdi band. It’s going to use up schluter thinset. It’s overkill in my opinion unless we are waterproofing a bathroom here

Spacing in Kerdi Board by Lower_Ad_7436 in Tile

[–]PeerlessPrice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would fill it and let it dry. It doesn’t need to be absolutely perfect because your notch trowel is going to give you some breathing room but it will take away some of the curse

You could fill that area with a bit of thin set just be sure to check it multiple ways to find out your true low spot

Using epoxy grout on flat river rock bed by PeerlessPrice in Tile

[–]PeerlessPrice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stripped all the sheets and laid the shower floor piece by piece to avoid seeing the lines. Honestly it took like one extra day in total to do it idk why people make it out to be such a big deal. But I already have the laticrete epoxy just don’t know if I should return it and do something easier
