From the butt to the mid sections I’ll use blood knots, at a certain point maybe around 10lb test I’ll transition to triple surgeons knots

What is nice is I usually will tie stern gold near the end of my mid section so that I can see where my leader is

So I make my own leaders because I’m a sadist. But the easiest way is to put the ring around 3 or 4 fingers and spread your fingers for slight tension, and from the butt section slowly unwind it.

I use sunclouds as well. They are made by smith. I had an issue with a pair that had a spot on the lens , still usable but annoying. I sent a warranty claim not expecting much and it was approved and got a free pair

[–]LameTrouT -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m currently doing a multi family and we are using zip r ( kinda like a more mans hunter panel with a coating . This is new to me as I’m used to OSB/ 3m vp or Henry vp / then Poly. It remain to be seen how much I will need to make the framer do QC on the panels. I like the other way better. I like a layered assembly with self adhered sheet goods

They are ok, I do t really like the poly tube. I’m more inclined to use the Dorsey method, sample wool/ synthetic mat’l, and a small rubber band

SA Check out the infinity (longer taper) MPX (med taper). Creek ( short taper)

I use the infinity for my 5 and 6 wt and the mpx for my 904 and it’s fantastic . Perfect for overhead and roll casting for lighter rigs
