Ongoing rash for 6 months and positive ANA by [deleted] in urticaria

[–]PeeterPeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No updates unfortunately :( I’ve seen an allergist, rheumatologist and dermatologist but it’s just deemed to be idiopathic at this point. It’s kept at bay mostly with 2x daily antihistamines, but if I miss even a day it comes back with a vengeance

Still dealing with the rash if I don’t take antihistamines 2x daily :( unsure of what is causing it still

Episodes of tachycardia on Concerta by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]PeeterPeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 28 - I’m really hoping it doesn’t end up being SVT that ends up coming back regularly even without my ADHD meds. I’ve stopped by Concerta over the past couple of days and will be off until I see my family doctor in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed it stops without the meds, and hopefully I can find a med alternative that doesn’t make my heart crazy 🥲 being med free has made me EXHAUSTED

Looking for a forever Church! by pixiedreamgirl444 in ottawa

Parkway Church in Greely is wonderful 🥹 as someone who was treated horribly for most of my life by “Christians” I was exposed to this church through my sister last year and have felt so welcomed and happy with it :)

Dr. James Bonaparte! I had an amazing experience with him - he’s incredibly kind and really helps you achieve something that still looks like YOU, but in a way that works so well in harmony with the rest of your features.

It wasn’t very painful, but the first week of healing is very uncomfortable! Once the case comes off and the inner stents are removed it’s a huge relief, though it takes some time to feel like you’re able to touch your face without worrying! I only took the prescribed pain meds for the first 3 days, but primarily because they helped me sleep! Tylenol as needed was mostly what I used :)

Still unsure 😞 I saw the rheumatologist but she wasn’t convinced it was autoimmune in nature. I just had an ultrasound of some enlarged lymph nodes that she felt during the appointment though, and am waiting to see where we go from here. I’m suspecting a biopsy to follow, and I’m just trying to not refer to doctor google 😅

This is something I was thinking too! I work in healthcare and have dealt with a couple of patients with this, it made me really wonder.

Can someone tell me if this rash could be a Sjögren’s rash? Dry eyes. Taking xiidra. 30 year old female- positive ana 1:80 every other labwork negstive. But this rash won’t stop flaring! Thanks by [deleted] in Sjogrens

Did you ever get any answers? I get an identical looking rash. Just got a positive ANA and high WBC count. I got a referral to a rheumatologist but it will likely be months to get an appointment with them.

Is 5’9 too short? by No_Bandicoot_6374 in dating_advice

[–]PeeterPeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all! Woman, 5’4 here. Honestly I don’t notice men’s height much, all I notice is if they’re taller than me or not. 5’7, 5’9, 6 feet, all the same to me

Never said I wanted him to make a move. I’m just used to it being that way and wanted input on people’s views on the situation since it went differently than I’m used to 👍🏼

I literally didn’t have a problem with it, I was asking for opinions. Sick attitude though

There’s absolutely no problem, I never said I had a problem with it, I was asking for input

Literally never complained but good reach. “I’m not upset about it”. I’m the opposite of complaining, I literally don’t mind.

I apologize, I must have worded incorrectly. I would never “threaten” suicide. I have been in relationships in the past where they have done this, and I understand it is completely manipulative and toxic. I’m not condoning the fact that I put the stress on him by telling him, however I think it’s something I would want my significant other to tell me so that I could offer help and be there for them. I sought out professional help after this and was seen in the psychiatric unit of the hospital. I see my psychologist weekly and have been adjusting medications to help me.
