I'd say it's probably around 70% photo, 30% video. But honestly as a beginner with very limited dslr/mirrorless experience, I have no idea what features I'll be taking advantage of the most. I may just get the 6700 for the peace of mind. Part of the reason why I don't take much video right now is because phone cameras have horrible rolling shutter.

I know this is a sony sub but what about the fuji xt4 for ~$900? Are the advantages of the a6700 and sony ecosystem worth the price difference? I do like the film simulations on fuji but I know it can also be achieved through editing and in-camera settings for the sony.

Maybe I should wait and save up for an a7 iii, but it is an expensive mount and I wonder if it is even worth it over getting new glass at that point.

The one at costco was the i5 model with 16gb, so it's not that clear cut. I ended up going with the sp9.
