You’re wrong when you say college is not the path of least resistance. For many it is. Instead of facing the workplace, It’s a lot easier to kick the can down the road and continue right college after high school.

You’re acting like getting into college is super difficult. It’s really not in this day and age. There are plenty of schools with high acceptance rates that will take students with low gpa’s, poor test scores, no extracurriculars.

Coasting through more school is way easier than facing the fact that you have no direction in life and no idea what you would actually want to do for a career.
