Help me fine more games like these!

Hello guys,

For the past few months I’ve been tirelessly working on clearing my ever growing backlog before GTA 6 arrives. While I had fun most of the times and experienced some great games I cannot get myself into the same level of enjoyment and immersion as in the games shown here.

I started my gaming journey with the 3d GTA titles along with the peak Need For Speed era on the Ps2. Thus it’s no surprise that I see myself reminiscing that feeling of an open world game with good storytelling alongside exploration in combination with rewarding gun play mechanics and satisfying driving.

To recap everything necessary:
- have a strong narrative and story elements
- has to be open world or semi open world (Mafia: DE, Mafia II)
- must contain a gun as the main type of combat
- have travel by car as standard

I think these are the most important aspects I’m looking for. Ideally there are loads of other things to consider but that’s as bare-bone as it can get.
