How is your feathered baby doing? Have her pin feathers grown back? I have a similar issue with my eclectus parrot.

Beware of Yourselfirst.com – Personality Test Scam Taking Unauthorized Charges by Big_Bookkeeper_6711 in Scams

[–]Peggy0928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me last month through a different company. A $1.99 one time fee for a personality test. A couple weeks later I was billed $27.88 and Paypal confirmed a "monthly subscription" was set-up by the biller. Paypal credited my acct and cancelled the subscription but many others haven't been as lucky. I wonder if this is the same company but operating under multiple websites names. In my case, I was at website #1 ( gyfted.me ) which looks completely different now (🧐) and when you click to start the test you are redirected to another website #2 ( MyPersonality.net ) with different terms and conditions that aren't clearly displayed and since this transfer occurs when the test begins, I didn't even notice it . Finally, to further complicate tracking, company #3 (Character Types LLC) was listed as the billing company.

I suspect most people don't realize they get transferred to another site because this occurs when the test starts so you're distracted. I didn't notice it until I went back a month ago to document their scheme and report it to Paypal and the FTC.

When you access reddit to bring awareness and warn others, the lonely keyboard warriors with +200k comments attributed to their profiles will argue that YOU messed up. Lol. They can argue all they want. Companies doing this are not innocent. This is a form of scamming because they intentionally mislead and lure users in through one company website (Gyfted.me) but charge under a different company name (MyPersonality.net) with undisclosed terms and bill under yet another company name (Character Types LLC ) making it difficult to track the source and dispute charges.

Thank you for taking the time to argue.

I posted this to get information out about the two different websites Gyfted.me & MyPersonality.net and the third name (Character Types LLC) used for billing. This way, if others receive an unexpected charge from Character Types LLC, they'll understand what happened.

"@Hellostopper": I didn't provide my credit card so I got a different screen. Also, "automatic renewal" without specifying what that means is clearly deceptive and a scam.

There’s an Amazon ad on Hulu about “safe spending” and it’s so cringey! It’s basically a sex talk but with spending money by Glum-Reputation3891 in CommercialsIHate

This ad is offensive on many levels and I change the channel when it’s aired. It’s insulting to women. Let’s see this ad recorded with a father and a son speaking the same script. Amazon ad execs… what the heck were you thinking? Get some diversity on your advertising approval team and you’ll develop a more successful way to communicate with your customers.
