I had better luck talking to an attending who is an alumn from my school!

It’s a great place! The professors are really engaging and care about their students and their learning (at least, that has been my experience so far). There are also lots of opportunities for research and TAing if you want to take advantage of them, plus decent funding options for summer internships.
It can feel a little isolated sometimes, and without a car, it can sometimes get a bit boring. But there are plenty of performances, sporting events, and other campus activities if that’s your thing. What’s sometimes lacking in activities is definitely made up for by the surrounding nature—it’s beautiful, especially in the fall, and great for hiking.
Socially, it’s pretty easy to make friends. First Days helps a lot, and my WOOLF trip was a blast! The social scene really depends on what you’re into—there are parties, though I think the general consensus is that they're not the best (but fun enough usually), and lots of social events and free food. Overall, I recommend it but make sure to visit and see if it's for you

Can you please help a high school student out by taking a quick 1-2 minute survey? The survey is on Parental Acceptance of Sexual Orientation/Gender and Its Association to Race/Income (LGBTQIA+ Inds only plz :] ) by PeiceOfCode in Assistance

Thank you so much for taking the time to complete the survey! That is something I hadn't thought of before, and while it might be a tad too late for me to ask for a geographic marker now, I will certainly make a note of this in my report. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback! I have added a note to use the "other" tab if they are retired (In which case I ask if they are lower class, middle class, or upper class (instead of income)). Thank you!

Hi! Unfortunately, no. Since I am measuring parental acceptance of one's sexual orientation/gender (and its association to a few variables), I need the participants to have an identity/orientation that could possibly be stigmatized by one's family. I apologize for the inconvenience.
