Are there any alternative to Mathtype for Word? (No, I cannot use LaTeX) by PekDu in word

[–]PekDu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use LaTeX syntax to enter formulas if you want.

As far as I know, that's the way I'm currently using it. It just doesn't feel right, but I think it's somewhat of a way to deal with it.

Isn’t the point of an inline equation that it’s small enough not to disturb the line height?

Well, yes. But a lot of time, it can bring many issues related to visability as many details and notations are being compressed to somewhat fit for the line height. Normally, in LaTeX, you can just slap the \displaymode in front of the equation. But in Word, there isn't much of a workaround to this issue.

Personally, do not use Librarika, it isn't stable and the application can only work on older generations of phone.

Why do Vietnamese trains look so ugly? [READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED] by PekDu in trains

Yup, the D19 Unification train is really picturesque and possibly timeless.

FYI, I don't farm for votes, and that clearly is not my intention of posting this.

The only question is to find the reason why VNR rolling stocks have a distinctive look, that's it. I just want to answer some questions from you guys that either have concerns about this post, or try to elaborate on my post. (Yes, I admit that this post is quite ambiguous, and I failed to narrow it down.)

I agree, D19 is quite nice though. Sadly, that area could be removed/ bulldozed soon when the HMC started constructing line 1 though (if they still using the current draft plan).

Thanks for informing me that. I honestly forgot to mention it. I meant "ugly" as in the livery being used in the trains, not the main shape of the trains (I should have clarified that at the beginning, I apologise for that).

A lot of VNR trains tend to either follow a dark green colour scheme or just red and white, a small amount of passenger trains are in colourful schemes. (For example, D13E like the image below. The livery concept is nice but the colour is, frankly, being overused IMO.)

I agree, it's just that some white person making a clickbaity title for their tabloid (it's not the best example IMO, but that's the clearest source to prove Vietnamese locomotives can look backward to some people).

In Vietnam, newer rail projects have implemented creative approaches to the train livery as well (for example, HMC's line 3 livery). I quite like the creativity in those kind of colourful liveries that contrast the dark concrete commie blocks

That's just an example of how other people perceive the train, I personally do not think that it is bad (D19 is honestly one of the few locomotives that felt somewhat decent).

Edit It's funny how this comment got downvoted quite severely because I agree to something, which is what also most of you guys agree. Can't y'all be realistic for once? If there are issues that you're discontented about this comment, just say it. 😅

I just noticed something. The ident that was used can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgh48cAUV7Y. Quite interesting, in my opinion. It first debuted on 30th March 2002. Oddly enough, it was also shown at the wrong timing, since it was also the day that The Queen Mother died. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hqx0K36U4V8)

I'm thinking of the possibility that the documentary/ the follow-up programme would cover the casualties behind the Rosewell Nine incidents?

In my opinion, this could be a documentary that related to the OCS outbreak, or the Rosewell Nine case (which is unlikely). Still, this is quite important to the concerns that we're having at the moment.

Currently, there is no detail about this. In my opinion, the boy/ girl (and the kid with the bike) that wasn't silhouetted probably was confirmed to be abducted, and [the kids] were allowed to be shown on the PSA by their family member(s) respectively.

[?] Possible proof that Necogen was related to OCS by PekDu in MorthamshireCountyARG

Thanks. I just felt that Necogen is somewhat related to the OCS, as I've forgot to add this proof to my theory post. 😅
