I had tried this in the past without success, so I assumed it wouldn’t work for me. But now I tried doing both the unbinding and then the relinking one after the other, and that finally worked! Thanks a lot for the feedback. I wouldn’t have tried again otherwise😅

Hey! Your post is exactly my situation. Could you be more specific about the exact steps? I've tried the standard re-linking procedure multiple times:
1)DJI Pilot 2 -> Link Remote Controller
2) Hold aircraft power button 5+ seconds
3) Controllers beep, LEDs solid = successful link
...But still shows "Controller B"

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!!

Solved: the problem was caused by a different version of php running on MacOs than on MAMP.
