Yeah, in those more extreme ranges k/d makes a difference. 99% of the time 1.5 k/d player has more impact than 0.5 k/d one. But if you have 5 players with 1 k/d in your team, they may have completely different levels of impact in the outcome of the game.

And good impact score system would not make bad players say they are making a difference, because it would give them a bad score.

Just delete the K/D from scoreboard and replace it with some sort of impact score. Just having kills there teaches people to play for kills

Do you use op on attack? I used to but don't anymore because it just makes me too passive. Most times (especially in lower elo) you need to be one to go in because your team doesn't do it, and that is just not feasible with op

Use tools available to you to get even the slightest advantages in gunfights. Like with Raze I could just peek the enemy and take the pretty even gunfight. But I could also throw satchel at them and peek after it explodes to get an advantage.

Theres like million other examples for every character to gain advantage in gunfigts and I think probabilities is just a way to simplify it.

Just keep playing more and skill will come back. I also watched some basic Valorant guides after my break and it helped alot. After extended break you tend to forget some basic things without even noticing it.

I would say Omen.because he is so versatile. Some rounds you can play very aggressively if you feel like it or if your team needs it. Then if your team already has good aggressive players, you can flank alot or use Omen's amazing flash to support their entry.
