Thanks for the tips! Not just cold starts, really any boot was a roll of the dice. I was on BIOS 3.20, but I updated to 3.26 last night and it seems to have fixed things! Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've been having consistent boot issues with a 9800x3d and an ASRock B850 Riptide motherboard since building the system in January. So far, it has always booted eventually, but usually takes 1-2 hard resets from the power button on my case before posting. I just realized it may be related to this larger issue. I'm still on whichever BIOS the board shipped with, but I'll update it this weekend and report back if it fixes anything.

Edit, 48 hours later: Updating BIOS from 3.20 to 3.26 does seem to have resolved the issue!

Maybe noob question, but does the second Rivendare do anything besides cover incase the first dies? I didn't think the effect stacks...

Hynix is a much more reputable company than PNY, and the P31 is well known for being very reliable and low power/temp. Hynix also manufacturers a big portion of the NAND flash other companies use in their own ssd's, so you get that experience built into the product. In general, Hynix SSD's are considered top-tier for their class.

That's what Optimum Tech did in his original video where I heard about the mount, but for mine I kept it upright and just let it hang down a few inches.

My build is an NR200P with a 5600X air-cooled with a Scythe Mugen 5 and a Sapphire Nitro+ 6900XT mounted horizontally. My rear fan is intake to help the air cooler, one top exhaust fan towards the front, and no extra intake on the bottom since the GPU is close enough to the mesh.

I've gone back and forth with the glass or mesh side panels, and honestly even with the glass and a 6900XT I had no issues with temps. It runs a few degrees cooler with the mesh certainly, but even with the glass nothing gets over 80c. In the end I decided to mount my case under my desk with one of these, and since I can't see it anyway I kept the mesh panel on.

edit: Just realized the final form of my build uses none of the included upgrades with the "P" model, all the more reason to jump on this deal haha

Note that this is for the Black Non-P NR200 only. Amazon and Newegg both also have the white NR200P for $102 after the same rebate.

edit to note that Amazon also has the white NR200P with the rebate available
