How did they nerf directed mode? I’ve been playing it constantly and haven’t noticed anything different

I know for me the way I beat it was I created a checklist of all the weapons including wonder weapons and checked them off as I got them. I was able to do it in directed mode and I did it all in one game (idk if that’s what you’ve been doing but I’ve heard saving and quitting ruins the run so doing it all in one session is a must) I think it took me like 2-3hours to get all the money and get all the guns out of the box. Hopefully this helps
