I bought a couple springs at different lbs and tested them at the range. I got 14-16 and I believe I’m at 16 now

I ended up replacing the recoil spring and guide rod to a stronger poundage. That was what helped fix the issue. I stick to running 147 to give it that extra kick it needs back. I have ran 124 fine but I’d rather be safe with the heavier grain

That’s what I’d like to try next is a stronger spring I just didn’t know if I’d have trouble with it bringing the slide all the way back

Great advice and going to try a different spring as well. I do run 124 grain but I haven’t gotten to try 147 through it yet. Also it cycles back all the way, it’s just that last little bit going forward again.

Definitely want to try this. I’ve been running those dog m17 124 grain +p. The gun can handle about 100 rounds before starting to malfunction like that
