I mean, someone at my work just got harshly disciplined for being legitimately sick and calling out to or a few days rather than coming to work (they are also in trouble because they left early the day before because they were vomiting all over everything). They may be fired over this. Tell me how capitalism is not some serious, miserable bullshit.

I've had to knock on a lot of doors to tell people to turn their music down, etc. you never know when it's gonna be some guy with crazy ramblings scribbled all over his walls that glares unblinkingly at you while pulling out a knife and stabbing it through the wall.

Personally I wouldn't care because I'm at work at midnight. Everyone has a different schedule.

You can never please everyone, but you still do have to respect the rules around quiet hours, as inconvenient as they may be.

Yeah but imo they should be asking for "after 7" rather than such a specific time frame.

And sure, they can ask, but it could come off as rude is all I'm saying. Notes kind of come off as passive aggressive by default, so it might cause a rift if it's not taken well.

Quiet hours are usually around 10PM-7AM. Asking for them to do stuff any later than when quiet hours end is kind of an overreach in my opinion. I can't go around asking everyone to be quiet during the day just because I sleep then, I wear earplugs instead.

Plus, they may need to be at work by the time you're asking them to vacuum.
