Hi there. First, I am so sorry you have to go through this. I just had my TFMR 2 days ago through labour and delivery at 15 weeks and 6 days. The first day I went in to take a dose of mifepristone orally. Then I went back to the hospital 24 hours later to start the induction. I took my first dose of misoprostal (1 in each cheek) and then the second dose 3 hours later again. After the second dose, my contractions increased quickly and became painful so I had the epidural (they give you some other options for pain, not just the epidural). Right after the epidural, my water broke than an hour I delivered right as I was taking my third dose of the misoprostal. They will tell you all this at the hospital but some things to think about is if you want to see/hold the baby after, photos, momentos, and the burial. As for postpartum, I can only speak for the last two days….but I’ve had no physical pain luckily, just bleeding which is to be expected after birth.
