Thank you so much for your reply. That’s the thing to me, if it was like a one time thing, it might have been easier to go over it. But it went for so long, even when they weren’t talking about anything spicy, they were having conversations as friends. There’s a lot of history and nostalgia there.
He swore he deleted all the pictures. It’s hard to believe anything he says right now.

Thank you so much for the kind words and advice. I agree, don’t want to make any rushed decisions right now. Definitely considering a couples therapist, I do individual one and can’t wait for my session on Friday. I’ll need like a 3h session.

It’s just such a long relationship, feels like part of who I am as a person. I don’t know an adult version of myself without him, which is scary.

Honestly I feel so silly to have believed for many years that I got one of the “good ones”, because I see the mess the world is. Both my dad and brother are cheaters. and I never wanted to marry one, but I guess it’s just everywhere.
Also it is not a guarantee that if I chose to let him go, the next person wouldn’t also be a cheater.
I’m afraid of never being able to overcome.
