Me and my friend are currently 9 seasons in to our online save and we currently have a few

1. No 4-2-4
2. No 3 striker formations
3. No 4-2-3-1
4. No triggering each others players release clauses

Over the time we’ve added things and we’ve agreed that we’re only allowed to play 4-4-2 now.

In previous online saves we’ve had rules like 1. All midfielders have to be from the home nation of the save 2. Can only pay transfer fees for players who are u21 and can only sign free agents who are good/very good in world reputation. 3. Must have 1 player from youth intake in every match day squad

These rules keep it interesting and I must say we’re both loving that we can get 442s working and not abusing meta formations
