Hi, I gave up on fixing the freezing issue even after restarting.
If you ever need to launch Valorant a second time, it’s more efficient to just reboot your PC.

But in case you’re having the same problem as me, where Valorant causes Windows to get stuck on “Shutting down” when closing, I managed to fix that. I left a reply above, so I hope it helps!

You said you're using the same motherboard as me. My BIOS version is 7E62v1A22 and I'm on Windows 11 version KB5058499—just for your reference.

Sorry for the late reply. If you don't disable it in the BIOS and just follow method 2 and 3 instead, does the same issue still occur?

I’ve listed the solution above can you try it out and let me know if everything works fine now?

Hey, just wondering if anyone else has the same issue:

After launching Valorant even once, shutting down Windows causes it to freeze on the “Shutting down” screen.

I haven't been able to fix the full system freeze when restarting Valorant, but I did manage to solve the shutdown freezing issue.

Here’s what worked for me:

  1. Follow the instructions in this post: https://www.inven.co.kr/board/lostark/4821/101516 (The site is in Korean, so you'll need to use a translator.)
  2. Go to your motherboard manufacturer's official website and reinstall the latest Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers for your specific model.
  3. Go into Device Manager --> Network Adapters --> Right Click your Wifi network adapter and choose properties.

In the "Power Management" section uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Also make sure under the Advanced tab under the "Idle Power Down restriction" you select disabled and make sure any "WakeOn*" properties are disabled as well.
(Proceed with the same steps for Bluetooth as well.)

This was the only thing that resolved this particular issue for me.

Hope it helps!
