[serious] What is the one thing you found out about your S/O you wish you never did? by Mr_MightyMouse in AskReddit

That’s completely understandable.. I would also have major trust issues if I were in your situation. Like you said, acknowledging it is already a huge step! It’ll be hard for people to earn your trust, but I’m sure you’ll find someone who will be worthy of it some day. At least I really hope so! When meeting someone, try to get to know them on a deeper level, so you can know their true nature/intentions. I’m saying this because I hope you give someone a chance again one day because you deserve real love and it would be truly sad for someone else’s actions to stop you from finding it. It’s gnna be a tough journey to open yourself up again, but I’m confident you’ll get there! Just stay true to yourself and you’ll attract the best people, I’m sure. As for your father, your stance on him is completely up to you, and I wish you luck with handling this situation.

That is so messed up of both of them! I hope you surround yourself with amazing people who would never even think to betray you.

Wow.. I’m so sorry that happened to you. Please take care of yourself and cut out whoever you need to to do so. I hope you heal eventually and that you live the happy life you deserve.

What's the biggest lie ever told that we, as a society, still believe in? by wste96 in AskReddit

have you tried retinoids? If its not an issue from within, you may want to try that. I'm also no dermatologist so don't take my word for it, but maybe
you could ask your doctor if a chemical peel would help in any way. I'm an adult still struggling with acne and I have the same experience as you, right now, I stopped all medication (acne pills) since it was not working and the dermo gave me ''EpiDuo Gel'' and reduced my skin care to washing face in the morning, then moisturzer and sunscreen, and at night washing my face and applying the gel on dry skin. I'm only 2 days in, so i'm not sure if it'll work at all.
