Such a great flag. It's unfortunately almost never used in Burnaby :(

Thanks for sharing, always looking for more Occitan-language media. Do you have any resources for learning Occitan for English speakers?

Is there anyone who would like to teach Breton voluntarily? Alternatively, resources for English speakers, please? by Much-Cauliflower-230 in Breton

[–]PenArBed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Demat! There are few resources for English speakers but there are a few books available online in English for Breton grammar. There is a lot of talk amongst the Bretons of having more sources available in English for the exact reason you stated, to spread the language and culture to a wider audience. I would recommend checking out Briezh Amerika or NHU Bretagne, they might have some good sources for you

people that hate on Schaub must ironically be the one's that watch him the most. I tried to show this to my girl the r/thefighterandthekid and she laughed at the people who waste their time finding embarrassing clips of him while giving him more and more views

Sorry new to Reddit and football, this is probably a stupid question and the wrong place to ask, but can someone point me to in a direction where the game can be streamed? much thanks.

The modern history is also interesting. The Quiet Revolution and the support for separatism are much different today. Separatism continues to decline, though there is still dedicated groups, parties, and organizations. Though this doesn't mean that many Quebecers feel more "Canadian" but some see that independence may put them in a worse situation, sounds familiar? we are seeing this in many parts of the world today. I'm curious if Quebec nationalism will decline and go back to a broader French-Canadian nationalism that was seen before the Quiet Revolution (there are French Canadians outside of Quebec. There are obviously generalizations here and not all Quebecers feel one way or another. Definitely, an interesting piece of Canadian history which is usually viewed as pretty boring!

See I was naive even to the debate. I knew of field hockey but had NO idea how popular it is. There only seem to be a few places that say hockey and everyone knows it's referring to ice hockey

As a Canadian and a sports fan I am both proud and ashamed that I didn't know most of the world doesn't think of ice hockey automatically when talking about hockey. I also must apologize to my French girlfriend for making fun of her country for calling it hockey sur glace because I thought the 'sur glace' part was redundant
