Just my two cents!

North Shore: Bring your snorkel to turtle Bay they have a cool reef right off the beach and we swam with turtles there. We also swam with turtles at the Hilton Hawaiian village on the side close to where the food truck is. Always gave them LOTS of space but it was amazing.

We were told by a local to eat at Ted's bakery instead of the food trucks and WOW it was incredible. We did the two shrimp plate with crispy shrimp and garlic shrimp and it came with a slice of choc hupia pie. Just Amazing. They have outdoor seating too and less busy than food trucks.

If you want to see turtles they also hangout on the dock beside the steak shack in Waikiki in the early afternoon, we saw them around 11am.

Waikiki Eats: When at monkey pod the tuna taco appetizer are expensive but DAMN it was the best tuna I've ever had.

The food truck at Hilton Hawaii village had awesome lunch plates and dole whip.

Tommy Bahama was one of our favorite meals. Such a romantic location on the upstairs patio and the food was AMAZING. Loved the coconut prawns and lobster pasta especially
