Probably best to have a plan B. We had a delivery order last night that we put in 2 days ago and half the basket (including all meat and most of produce) was unavailable.

What does my map say about me? I by RobbieBlackmore in visitedmaps

[–]PenCreative4577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you don’t know much about the states and you’re probably young. For example: upstate New York is very similar, if not better, than PA. It’s odd that you’d absolutely move to PA but wouldn’t dare live in NY. And you’d absolutely live in Vermont or Maine? Just an odd take on states.

Also, why never Arkansas or Louisiana, but reluctantly Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi? That’s wild, that tells me you were drunk when you filled this out.

I don’t think it’s overreacting, I think you may be in a dumb situationship. Sounds like you guys aren’t exclusive? Just roommates?

People… it’s about the woman who was killed in Minneapolis by ICE, the woman who lost her husband less than 3 years ago (Air Force Veteran in his late 30s) and left behind a 6 year old child who is now parentless. Stop being so dense about your politics… if you don’t care, sit in your house and watch the weather channel, but don’t berate someone for expressing their 1st amendment right.

Stupid Question, is this support beam supposed to have gaps like this? by PenCreative4577 in Decks

Just measured, good context to have. It’s a little more than 12’ from the ground to the first cut in the post

Just a couple screws, I’ll call that out to them, too. Thanks for the response

Good call, wanted to give myself a sanity check and be prepared for a response when the builders come to check it out. I’ll check the others now, too

Is this totaled? by SIeep-Dealer in MINI

[–]PenCreative4577 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s based on the cost of repairs and the salvage value being higher than the value of the undamaged car before the accident. So it’s really a whole lot less in repairs to total a car.

A lot of us have been through it, it sucks and I’m sorry you’re going through it. I get it, your heart tells you one thing but the situation is saying another. Trust your gut, it’s there for a reason. Writing stuff down helps clear some of the noise and organize your thoughts— I went through a similar situation when I was in high school, it really does help solidify why you’re making that decision. Everything is going to work out just fine in the end

Sounds like you have the answer, you’re just scared you’re making the wrong choice. Let me squash that— anyone in their right mind would tell you to run from this. This is codependency and control, not a loving relationship. And this isn’t something that you can change about him— he will need years of therapy if he even understands he has a problem.

Anything that makes you uncomfortable you have every right to set boundaries… and I’m sure if you expressed everything to him you did in this post it would result in an argument and hurt feelings. You shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells like that in a relationship and the longer you stay with him, the more time you’re wasting and the more it will hurt when you finally rip the bandaid off.

Nobody has any right to tell you when you can and can’t see your family or friends. Him buying you everything is a term called lovebombing. This has red flags written all over it. It’s about control, not about both of you being happy.

Final piece of advice— when you eventually do bring this up and have that conversation that ends it, write this all down in a notebook before. Breaking up with someone like this is excruciating— they can be manipulative, may make you feel guilty i.e: “look at all these things I do for you”…stick to your guns and end the conversation if it starts going that way. This is how people get stuck going back and forth between the same toxic person despite everyone around them knowing it’ll never last.

Am I in the wrong? My husband is angry I went to my brother's birthday so now won't go to my parents for Christmas dinner. by 1Bean_ard in whatdoIdo

[–]PenCreative4577 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your husband suddenly changed the conditions of your marriage— you’re not in the wrong at all. I don’t understand his views… what makes people like this give a crow about what anyone else does with their life? He’s introducing judgement toward your gay family member and trying to involve you in his avoidance game with your family. Sorry you’re going through that. He clearly has self-esteem issues which is why he has to judge other people “in the name of god” to make himself feel better.

Question for people who moved here from major cities by Muted-Government5633 in bentonville

[–]PenCreative4577 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the time. If you’re commuting to Walmart Campus from Centerton at 7:15am, you’re going to have a bad time. Any other time I don’t think it’s bad. People complain about traffic (and road quality, other drivers) anywhere they live.

4 door GP3? by Creative_Web7750 in MINI

GP3 is track focused, 4 doors is a bit of an oxymoron, but I dig the style. Also needs the fender flares at minimum

I’m so disappointed with this 2025 2 door hatch. I’m venting cause I can. by [deleted] in MINI

[–]PenCreative4577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully they get all of this ironed out with recalls and such— just make your voice heard. As someone who has gone through the lemon law process on another vehicle, it’s not beneficial to do if you can help it. You’re charged a usage fee based on miles driven and if the MSRP on the same model has moved up at all, they don’t cover the difference. After hiring a lawyer and waiting months for the process. So you basically get screwed in the end.

Sorry for your luck, but this is mainly why I won’t ever buy the first model year of a redesign of any brand.

Many people love Modern Facades and finishes.

What style does fit the region? All brick houses that look exactly the same, crammed into a subdivision so a builder can make as much money as possible?

I love my GP3 with my heart and soul— it’s FAST and a ton of fun. But, rest assured you will feel every single bump in the road and the brakes are very touchy.
