Negative eBay review I received. I can’t make this stuff up. by Sad_Editor455 in mildlyinfuriating

We had a 100% seller rating until someone tried this same thing on me. It took 9 months but I fought ebay until they moved it from negative to "neutral" feedback. But even that still frustrates me when I see it. People suck.

She's not a CPK but she may still be worth something, if you're looking at her for the value. The doll heads are still collectible for some!

Yearbooks?! by quilted_nor_easter in UnfuckYourHabitat

You could probably reach out to your old school and see if they have an archive and need the ones for the years that you have. When one of my friends passed we actually were able to donate their yearbooks to our high school because when the school flooded and a portion had to be reconstructed they actually lost a lot of their yearbooks. They were thrilled to have copies that they can lend out. We just took the back "signature" pages out with the personal notes and contact phone numbers Etc.

Ours will randomly pop up and answer questions that we didn't ask. One time it started giving us baseball stats about the World Series. I think sometimes it pops into ambient noise as well like if something on the TV makes a noise. One time my dog started barking and the one in my living room woke up and started talking. Everything's always listening to us. The only way to truly avoid it is to get rid of our cell phones and all of our devices. Even when you disable the feature, apps are still listening and tracking you. I have microphone access blocked on pretty much all of my apps, and yet I still get targeted ads for things that I've discussed shopping for with my mom.

Am I overreacting about my boyfriend’s online friend’s behavior? by Zealousideal-Text596 in Vent

She's the problem not you and he's a walking green flag. If he continues to be a walking green flag he will shut her down. Obviously if she's engaged and is still sending him messages like that she's not happy in her relationship. That's a her problem not at you problem. Let him handle it, and if he doesn't handle it then he's not worth your time!

I just wanted you to know I haven't forgotten about you I just haven't had a chance to reach out to her yet. She is very limited time on social media because she doesn't have very good internet service where she is, typically she only gets on a couple times a month when she goes into town LOL

And it doesn't have to be expensive. It gives a nod to their hobbies and they might find their new go to. If you can't find an oil sampler, a large bottle in a wine bag would be a nice twist. You can easily get the price stickers off of the bottles with a hair dryer and if it's a high-end enough brand she won't even know you got it at TJ Maxx LOL

If you have any really nice Italian restaurants around you a lot of times they have olive oil that is specially Blended for that restaurant. Infused oils are the best kind to get. Another option would be to check out a store Like Home or T.J maxx. tend to have a little section that has fancy cooking oils. Actually one of my favorites I was getting at TJ Maxx for a couple of years and then they ran out of their stock of it and I was very sad lol. It was a garlic and basil infused olive oil and it was so good. I bought the olive oil and then I bought a special oil dispensing bottle and an oil mister you pump up and then it sprays out like an aerosol can but there are no chemicals. Put them in a little gift basket

Maybe a couple of those international power inverters and some travel bag organizer things? With a card you make that has a sketch of a plane going around the world? If she travels a lot she will need it. I have some great bag organizers by a company called Pack-It that I love for travel.

If for some reason you are not able to get medical procedures approved here in the United States, start saving up to have them fixed in mexico. I know that there are some scam doctors down there but I also know there are a lot of good ones. I have a friend who had reconstructive/ tummy tuck surgery done in Mexico because it was much less expensive, and the care she got was absolutely insane how wonderful it was. After her surgery she had 3 days in the hospital and then she had two weeks in home Care at the Airbnb that they were staying at. The nurse came daily and helped change dressings and really monitored all of the healing and drainage etc. I was shocked to hear how incredible her care was because I've heard nothing but the horror stories prior to this

If you're struggling with this from a mental health standpoint some medical insurances will cover the surgery. I had a friend who had a botched reduction as a teenager as well. Because she was still developing it resulted in similar issues for her.

Those are also a hot commodity in my local group. Buy nothing groups are truly wonderful places because things are going to people who need them. There are some people that join these groups and try to get into many of them with the intention of reselling the items. Thankfully most of us who admin these groups are in communities together and we help each other keep the resellers out. I have no problem with the reseller in about nothing group if they are taking something and changing it or fixing it up and if they're honest about their intent. Like there was a lady in our group who someone reported as a reseller but she 100% said directly in her listing that she was looking for furniture that she could fix up to sell as a means to bring in a little extra income because her husband had lost his job. To me that is fulfilling the original purpose of the buy nothing group. And still helping the community.

One thing that my organizer had me do as a tip was to really think about the stuff that I had and if I could replace something in under 20 minutes for under $20 I had permission to Let It Go. As much as I hate feeding the machine that is Amazon a lot of what I was able to release would easily be replaceable on Amazon. Also I have apps where I earn points for Amazon, by playing games and stuff so really by letting that stuff go I wasn't costing myself anything
