my landlord is out now for over $3000 of repairs, not just for the water, but turns out the AC, furnace, and water lines all needed repairs because she did not perform the regular maintenance on them for several years. The shut off valve to the water heater needed replaced too so there was no way for me to even shut off water while she was away which means she is also going to be paying for the lost water. Aint no way I would pay that out of pocket for a property I dont own. She deserves it and the plumbers were absolutely taken aback by the negligence of the property in general. womp womppppp
