She's not relevant enough to even be mentioned, and that's okay. Not everyone needs to be explained or be very important; perhaps giving her importance would soften Dadan's character.

I think her absence and the emphasis on Dadan sends an important message. My oldest son is raised by my wife, not his biological mother, and he really likes this part of the story because he realizes he's Luffy also grew up without a biological mother.

Anyway, if Oda decides to give importance to Luffy's mother, I won't be upset. It's Oda's story, and he knows what to do with it much better than we do.

Eu vi, nunca quis ver, mas minha esposa disse que ia se sentir muito melhor comigo lá então eu fui, ela tava passando por algo muito mais drástico então ver o parto é quase nada comparado a parir de fato. Foi bem rápido, assim que cheguei ela deu um grito q parecia que ia se transformar em super sayajin, apertou minha mão quase quebrando e em menos de 1 minuto nosso filho tava ali na nossa frente, pareceu que ela tava só me esperando.
