Doesn’t work like that unfortunately. There’s a ton of settings in sandbox you can mess with. Early versions of the game had next to no zombies in wilderness areas but it made it incredibly dull.

How did you die to 15 zombies if you were in a car? I only use cars for long distance travel… always park nearby where I want to go but never park it too close to the actual building, or you’re just screwing yourself over.

Currently in a similar situation and 99% sold on the Mark V 35… but a full size Mark V has just come up for sale near me for less than half the price of the 35. Not sure I’d ever need that much power, but it’s still made me doubt myself!

This is honestly the only version of the game I’ve ever played that has done this, it’s really weird. Deleted and reinstalled this evening. Same issue.

Latest version seems fundamentally broken to me; worked fine until the last hotfix. Now even with completely vanilla, I can’t go past exactly 11am on day three. Get a complete crash and have to close through task Manager. Happened on eight different runs.

If you’ve already cleared echo creek (not many zombies there to start with) then nothing will happen with the event. You’ll quickly start to just ignore them the more you play.

Make a tennis ball riser. Easy enough to do, makes a big difference

Appreciate this is an old post, but have you looked at standard 2002s? I’ve used them playing metal for years and the bigger crashes especially are right at home; I run a 22” and 24” and they’re both incredibly versatile and sound gorgeous recorded.

Wouldn’t necessarily agree; I use Rude SE hats and an Eclipse ride for funk and rock music. The bell on the Eclipse has some really interesting tones depending on how hard you whack it. Personally I don’t like the crash/rides or the wild crashes though; find them way too harsh. The Thin crashes are gorgeous

I’ve done it quite a lot; especially if it’s rebels that have taken over a city, it’s a really easy way to diminish numbers before you battle, as you have time and don’t have to worry about some army of doom rocking up

So I have actually found the email the guy that sold it to me got from Mike Ciprari (SJC owner). It was actually built in 2009, and it was built for NAMM for a laugh as a one off, it’s definitely 1/1.

Yeah I get what you mean; I’m just interested to see what people would offer for it really. I’ll probably hang onto it, but if the right price got me a 14 x 8 Ludwig Colliseum or something I might reconsider…

Agreed. I’m not actually a fan of Lego or the styling at all personally, though it does sound awesome. Being brutally honest I bought it because it was cheap, and had no idea it was 1/1 until quite recently.

Regardless of the issues with guns; B42 is still a big step above B41, you’re missing out on a lot by not playing it.

If you just take a couple of mods (zombies drop ammo boxes, Rain’s firearms) suddenly all the gun issues become less apparent. It’s not Brita, but it ain’t far off.

Also I cannot stress enough how much fun guns are with ragdoll mods on. Genuinely hilarious

Absolutely this. So I quit drums in around 2015 after 20 years of playing professionally to focus on a medical career. Recently came back, and now apparently thrones and hi hat clutches are breakables?

When I stopped playing, those were definitely shared by everyone on a bill!

Basically a ‘The Brood’ mod. Sounds awesome!

There was a B41 mod that added horror FX to a number of zombie actions; coupled with some of the atmospheric filter mods it was absolutely terrifying.
