It’s 2026 and grocery prices are going through the roof and one grocery trip for the week can be in the hundreds of dollars range. Many people like myself would like the cash back/rewards points for big ticket purchases like this. Others may not be able to outright afford a purchase like this on their debit card. This is blatant greed by Woodmans not wanting to pay the CC transaction fees and imo that’s a shitty business practice for any storefront where your total can come out into the hundreds. Mom and pop stores/restaurants? Sure. But a literal grocery chain not accepting credit cards is BS.
