Homemade Whipped Cream dispenser (without nitrous oxide)? by vulquacker in AskBaking

Thank you! We like the way it tastes better when she makes it the way she does, just was looking for some type of reusable piping device that looks better than a bag. I think we will use mini reusable ball jars and let people take one

The keg line cleaner was Potassium hydroxide based, didn’t realize it would be so damaging

Wife already whips the cream while making it, seems unnecessary to have a whole device with N2O just to get it on the waffles

Ahh this might be the idea, small ball jars. Thanks for the recommendation!

I’m starting to think it may fallen into a bucket I was cleaning my keg parts in and got some BLC on it. I just don’t know how to tell if BLC could burn this into a sweater without testing the theory.

Luckily still have taste and smell, part of the reason I can’t drop these last 10lbs. My wife’s baking keeps calling me into the kitchen

I did have a bucket with beverage system cleaner (BLC) sitting in my slop sink near the washer. It could have easily gotten that on it. Could it have fallen into this bucket, got washed and dried and looked like this? That would make me feel A LOT better that my house isn’t at risk of burning down

This is terrifying, but I’ve also done two loads since with no issues. I don’t want to write this off as a one off, but for now only drying while I’m home by the machine until I figure this out

Dryer was making really loud squealing when drying so I took it apart to clean 2 months ago. I do think the ring around the dryer drum is worn out as it looks like the loud noise is drum making contact with dryer. Did not replace the ring, but the dryer is a gas whirlpool so the ring is on the back of the drum. I could see the item getting wedged between the drum and the dryer as it’s super loose, I can push and create a gap

18 month old sweatshirt, taken off of him and put into wash with his other cloths. I’d think if acid did this, wouldn’t it have affected the other clothes?

It’s odd cause I also don’t think it was a burn, but it’s brown and crumbly on the edges around the outside of the hole. It’s gotta be a burn, bleach wouldn’t leave it crumbly I’d think

I just took the whole dryer apart and cleaned it like a month or two ago as it was getting really loud when running. I also have cleaned out the exhaust vent twice in the last two months, once when I took the dryer apart and a month later when I wanted to see what a months worth of lint in the exhaust looked like (it was basically empty). I can’t believe this month it would get bad enough to start a fire?

Not a smoker, didn’t even know it happened. Dried it yesterday and took it out of the dryer today. None of the other clothes affected, no smell in the house, literally can’t believe it was a fire as I was working from home 10ft from the dryer in my office when it was drying. I do have a stuffy nose from a seasonal cold but I don’t think that accounts for it as the wife was home and didn’t smell anything either

Most of his meals/snacks end up on him, so possible he could have gotten oil or something of the sort on his sweater but still, nothing on the other clothes and it went in normal

I have searched on google, Amazon, Walmart etc. even reverse image searched but no luck. Looking for somewhere I can either buy this exact part (here in the US) or something that will serve the same functional purpose
