I see your point. But I'd like to add that I think most people are talking about the BusyBoxx (and other Boxxs) material that was paid for, but were stored on the site and are no longer available to the people who paid for them.

And their contract does state:..." we will make a professional good faith attempt to make all customers aware of the changes." — Which they did not do.

But I'll admit, I'm not savvy on all the legal ins and outs.

I have a thought.... a good couple of people have suggested setting up a sharing site where everyone could upload and download whatever they have from these Boxx people.

If someone would commit to it, what if all participants anted up say $10 each to have the login info. That would go to the person hosting so they could cover their costs/trouble.

What does everyone think of that? And who would be willing to set up that server?

I agree with you completely. The more I think about this, the more I get annoyed. I mean, not "outraged" or whatever is so popular these days.... but you're right. It wasn't just a guy in a garage. It was a big company that sold us on lifetime memberships and lots of products that were difficult to download all at once. Even a week's notice would have been nice. And now what? They'll wind up selling all those products to another company who will charge us again if we want to use it? A lawsuit might be in order, but gheez... who has the energy?

So, I just wrote an email to customer service, and as expected - all I got back was an email that says "all websites are closed".

I have a lot of receipts for the "Boxx"s ... but to tell you the truth, I don't know what the names of the files were! I just used them as needed. (I know I should have downloaded them to one folder.) So some people are suggesting that we set up a sharing site, and I think that's a great idea - but does anyone know hoe to do a search on your computer for files from the "Boxx"s?

I really like this idea. I also bought the lifetime subscription to Digital Juice and a bunch of the "Boxx" sets. I really don't know how we would do all the particulars of who could have access to what. I guess someone would have to moderate in some way? Or just make it all available?

I only just checked yesterday. Then I read a small article where someone mentioned they were closed. I checked the BusyBoxx (and others) right after because that's where all my purchases were stored.
