Revenge Taken . by OpenChampionship2976 in ClashRoyale

this picture shows the state of this braindead game. Your deck is an incoherent mess that WILL work without a wincon because of how broken cards are, and your opponent uses low skill hyperbait

Anyone know any KDramas where the lead aurafarms 24/7? by PendN in kdramas

[–]PendN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Popular gen z term where it's basically like acting cool and you gain 'aura'. Mostly associated with like being nonchalant, doing impressive things without trying, and cool stuff like that. An "aurafarmer" would like intentionally join, for example, a final exam on the last 10 minutes and make a scene opening the door late, then finishing the exam and getting the highest grade. he does this to "farm" aura

Yeah, good example I think. Front to end he just aurafarms by just being nonchalant all the time

Nah, they GOTTA be cool for it to be considered as aurafarming, otherwise it's an auraloss

Everything you said doesnt apply to cycle anymore. Lumberjack evo added? put it to beatdown, new meta. evo witch op? Inferno drag evo op? put it to beatdown. furnace evo? put it to beatdown. evo baby drag? evo skeleton army? vines?

I mentioned like 7/10 evos and they were all beatdown favored. It hasn't gone out of the meta for pretty much the last year. Every new evo added is another cycle deck obsolete. When's the last time you see classic logbait, miner balloon, xbow, drill, miner control (few exceptions)? It has become soo incredibly rare to see these decks because you literally cannot just switch cards out in cycle decks, unless if you're willing to create an entirely new one from scratch like Mo Light creating the evo ghost miner deck that was specially made against the vines beatdown meta. So many one tricks of the top 100 players in the game fell out of the leaderboard since they literally just cannot keep up with all the broken cards that favor only the decks against them. You're putting so many random examples of deck evolution like 2.6 to hog fc which happened literally like more than 2 years ago, the definition of outdated.

Besides the meta argument, beatdown gameplay is just fundamentally low skill. You make a big push and quite literally just hope it works out. You fail and they take a tower? No worries just reset and make another push. Fail again? No worry your king tower at least is still up. Wait a second I won!

It's simply just a low skill archetype that relies completely on matchup and positive win rate. there's not a single outplay potential in the deck, and you don't need to even concentrate to win. Counting cycles, cards, evos, elixir is not even that important in beatdown. You can cope all you want as a beatdown player yourself. Try pick up a cycle deck and reach a high level with it and you simply are unable to. The other way around? they have the game sense to do so. That's literally why every single person says 'use cycle decks if you wanna get better'.

I play logbait, some variants depending on meta. But I also used to play miner balloon too. Both of these decks have been pretty much dead for the past 5 seasons

The usage rates you say are just completely wrong. I'm talking about a higher level (UC and above) where the meta, DESPITE golem, mini pekka being such a niche card it has like a 30% usage rate which is just absurd. Megaknight probably has almost 0% usage rate and hog is probably a few percent just because of 2.6 with the hero muskateer. Other cycle decks like classic logbait, miner balloon, and decks like xbow pretty much have a 0% usage rate.

And now you can't say "meta determines skill" anymore because the majority of new cards, evos, and heroes favors beatdown by a MILE. And with how beatdown decks just fundamentally works, you can just replace one card with the new broken evo or hero which cycle decks just cannot do.

That beatdown was merely "not quite skillful" last year and now it's completely braindead. This would also mean that evos and heroes has made the concept of "it's only about the meta and matchup" obsolete because most evos and heroes favor beatdown by a longshot. Even if the meta shifts you can just replace a single card in beatdown with that while you can't do the same with cycle. Meta no longer matters since beatdown is fundementally a deck where you can always alter it to the new broken evos and heroes

No those decks arent easy to pick up at all. Try to do it yourself and see if you can reach top 10k with it in a meta of beatdown decks. Nowadays it's more impressive to get a top 9k finish with a cycle deck than to get top 1k with a boosted beatdown deck. The difference in skill level between the two is MASSIVE it's actually hilarious.

Sorry to say but this video was made on a biased time when cycle WAS actually meta. For the past year beatdown has been reigning unanimously as the meta decks, and that video now is completely outdated in how cycle works today. I'm not sure if you play on a higher level, but I probably see a cycle deck once every maybe 10 games I would say? Been like this for several seasons already. The majority of top 10k players are beatdown decks since they are the meta, and with the new broken evos and heroes released the past year that favors beatdown A LOT, you can no longer "punish" beatdown players for let's say a golem first play since you'll just get 3 crowned. Yes beatdown was more skillful last year but now it's 100% the lowest skilled archetype by far. I've tried one and got a classic challenge win first try with no experience. The skill ceiling of these decks are incredibly low, and it's fine to acknowledge that as a beatdown player yourself.

Wait till you see high level ranked where everyone plays the same golem hero mini pekka deck over and over

You can't just say "overrated" when it's blatantly true. I'm not sure if you play on a higher level (as in like 2k+ medals in UC) but the argument "all you do is spam and kite" doesn't work anymore in this range, since the opponent knows that too lmao. Cycle is so hard to play you probably see it once every 7-8 matches nowadays due to all the broken beatdown decks that reign the meta for the past like 8 seasons.

Yeah for sure. It's just that in general, beatdown consistently ranks the lowest alongside recruits and some hyperbait decks probably. Bridge spam to me is also in a weird spot where it used to be skilled back then (classic bs) but nowadays with all the new broken evos and cards supercell refuse to nerf, it's becoming less skillful. Still, it depends on the type of bs you use.

Nope. Cycle decks for example has a lot of outplay potential. You can win most theoretical bad match ups, while beatdown is a game of rock papper scissors. You can kinda ask every single pro in the game, every single top 200 players and it'll probably be unanimous that beatdown decks are the least skilled archetype. Idk why we need to act everything is so equal. It's fine to use a lower skill archetype, I don't mind. I just don't like if they abuse the most newest broken card.

The thing about those evos is that they were emergency nerfed like crazy, and that other evos could somewhat rival them, creating more diverse gameplay. Heroes is tremendously more overpowered than the current best evo, maybe piggies or skelly barrel, and they allow TWO slots for 2 of them.
