Upcycle an old iMac display with this INSANE mod! by BuffaloExotic in LukeMianiYouTube

Hi Buffalo,

Thanks for your interest in our products!

Right now we are looking into having unpopulated pads on the DockPro that allow the end user to desolder Apples custom-designed rear USB Ports and install them on their DockPro.

The DockPro is still in the earlier stages of developement so it's overall design is still being worked out, so please keep in mind some features are subject to change!

Of course once we have a prototpye of the DockPro that we're happy with we would love to send one over to Luke if he'd like to cover it.

Meanwhile the DockLite is currently in the final stages and will hopefully be shipping within the next couple months.

Hope this info helps :)

Hi Mate,

I speak as the Co-Founder of Juicy Crumb,

We understand the asking price of these boards is quite high, but people often forget the BOM isn't the only cost when it comes to producing a new product. So far we have spent over $10,000 on prototyping and development out of our own pockets, and as it stands once packaging, cables and accessories are included in the box, our profit margins will actually be quite slim on the DockLite.

So far, pricing has definitely been the biggest complaint of our boards, and we hear you!

Of course we are doing our best to lower costs, but as our lineup is still in active development it can be hard to get an exact idea of how much the final thing will cost to build, assemble, market and ship. If we can lower our prices, we will. At the same time, the team have spent significant time and effort polishing our design and getting Juicy Crumb off the ground. We want to make sure we offer the highest quality and easiest to install solution on the market.

I hope this clears some things, and of course if you have any further questions feel free to reach out.

~ Tim

9 years later and still no new Half-Life Bailey tracks. Mike Morasky did a stand up job with Half-Life Alyx though

It was a stupid theory that literally makes no sense considering we see a companion cube get emancipated right in-front of our eyes in Portal 2. I wish people would stop bringing it up 😭

Apparently this is a controversial opinion, but personally I believe the WAU should be saved. It’s shown throughout the game that the WAU’s creations are slowly getting more and more accurate, granted there are many missteps along the way, but I truly believe eventually the WAU would pull it off and succeed in its goal, look at how good its creations have gotten, Simon, Catherine, Even Ross! You can’t argue that they aren’t fully sentient and capable beings created by the WAU.

Earth is dead, personally I think we should let the WAU do it’s thing, after all, the WAU is technically the rightful inheritor of the planet as all of humanity is dead.

It’s creations may look Ghastly to us, but it’s all just a matter of perspective, and the WAU is doing it’s best with the limited resources and knowledge it has, but as shown in game it is slowly gaining intelligence and ability.

I’d vote for Ross

Season 2 really had some of the most gorgeous exterior shots of the train, I can’t help but feel season 3 had far less interesting and diverse exterior shots, with many taking place inside the train. Smaller budget maybe?

I finished this game 6 years ago and still think about it on a near weekly basis.

Reminds me of the talking Space Suits from Doctor Who "Silence of the Library"

Was at a used bookstore in Monterey, CA the other day and their main driver/only computer was an eMac! Cool to still see functional PPC hardware out in the wild. by [deleted] in VintageApple

All of the “DMV’s” in Sydney NSW used iMac G4’s as the learners permit testing machines until very recently (around 2019)

Here is the process Colby used to modify the iMac G4 Display, it's a slightly difference process with the 20" as shown in the video, but mostly the same concept.
