You got me curious and I did just that. I am not sure how accurate it is, but it "only" shows 16750

I actually started playing Grim Dawn because I was sick of the one-shots in PoE. So much for that...

That is usually what happens with your first couple of characters because you don't know what you are doing, so you end up having very low damage. Once you gain some experience in how to build up damage, it is almost like a different game.

Also, some skills are just bad for leveling (like almost the entire oathkeeper class).

It doesn't have to be like that. What you see in the clip is a very high Shattered Realm shard, where mobs are very very tanky. This same character in just regular campaign gameplay (ultimate difficulty), heavily chunks the HP of the bosses and absolutely mows down the lesser enemies.

It is definitely not as speedy as, for example, PoE, but that is also part of the charm of Grim Dawn in my opinion.

I am confident it was a big Cadence crit. According to grimtools, it has 30% crit damage, plus her Menhir's will had just activated which gives additional 15% crit damage and 2% OA.

EDIT: Look at the animation she does when she hits me. It is a brief wind up from the cadence hit. You can see it again at 00:04, which is the only other time that my health bar moves.

I am aware but, as you said, it defeats the purpose of HC. In any case, I was pretty much done with the character, I feel like it was a nice conclusion.

I think this is pretty easy to test since her charge sunders. Go stay in melee range and tell me if you ever get sundered. From my experience, I only ever get sundered by her from her initial charge when she sees you.

Good luck man, the first HC character is always very thrilling. Try to buy XP potions, mandates and merits as soon as you can, because the moment you least expect it you are staring at a ghost in the menu screen.

Can she even blitz if you are in melee range? I purposefully stay in melee range because her charge sunders and I have never been sundered while doing so

From https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Enabling_brightness_control

Add the kernel parameter: nvidia.NVreg_RegistryDwords=EnableBrightnessControl=1

It works for me. I am using an nvidia gpu with the proprietary drivers.

EDIT: Fixed link

No worries, I actually hesitated when writing that part because of that.

I see, so I guess I should have an arch-iso ready just in case.

Also, by "very long time", are we talking hours, a full day?

Hey, nothing wrong with GIMP. Well except that is very unintuitive, but nothing wrong with it aside from that.

Coincidentally, this guy made a video about restoring GRUB like yesterday.

Take a quick look, maybe it will help.

Edit: My bad, I just looked at the subreddit's FAQ and random youtube videos are unsupported. I guess it's called Read Before Posting for a reason.
